We offer writer representation services in connection with negotiation of options, and negotiations of agreements with production companies, studios, networks and others, although we generally do not shop unsolicited original materials.  We also form "loan-out" entities for writers and advise writers concerning U.S. federal tax matters involving writers.

Production Companies

We offer production companies legal representation services including contract negotiations with talent, for intellectual properties, for services to (and from) other companies, production counsel services, with studios, distributors, entity formation, tax controversy representation with the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, California State Board of Equalization, and preparation of Regulation D offerings for raising capital by private placement of securities.

Intellectual Property

We handle copyright registration services, Federal trademark registration services and negotiation of contracts and licenses in connection with copyright, trademark and right of publicity matters.
